{1}In the beginning was the Word [Logos], and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. {2}He was in the beginning with God. {3}All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. {4}In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. {5}And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. {6}There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. {7}This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe. {8}He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. {9}That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world. {10}He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. {11}He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. {12}But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: {13}who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. {14}And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

{46}Not that anyone has seen the Father, except He who is from God; He has seen the Father. {47}Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life. {48}I am the bread of life. {49}Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead. {50}This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die. {51}I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.

{30}Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. {31}And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name JESUS. {32}He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. {33}And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.” {34}Then Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?” {35}And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God. {36}Now indeed, Elizabeth your relative has also conceived a son in her old age; and this is now the sixth month for her who was called barren. {37}For with God nothing will be impossible.”

{4}But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, {5}to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.

{22}But the Scripture has confined all under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe. {23}But before faith came, we were kept under guard by the law, kept for the faith which would afterward be revealed. {24}Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. {25}But after faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor. {26}For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. {27}For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. {28}There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. {29}And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

{13}Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”),

{21}For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps: {22}“Who committed no sin, Nor was deceit found in His mouth”; {23}who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously; {24}who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.

{18}For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit, {19}by whom also He went and preached to the spirits in prison, {20}who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water.

{3}For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, {4}and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, {5}and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve. {6}After that He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present, but some have fallen asleep. {7}After that He was seen by James, then by all the apostles. {8}Then last of all He was seen by me also, as by one born out of due time. {9}For I am the least of the apostles, who am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.

{36}Now as they said these things, Jesus Himself stood in the midst of them, and said to them, “Peace to you.” {37}But they were terrified and frightened, and supposed they had seen a spirit. {38}And He said to them, “Why are you troubled? And why do doubts arise in your hearts? {39}Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have.” {40}When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His feet. {41}But while they still did not believe for joy, and marveled, He said to them, “Have you any food here?” {42}So they gave Him a piece of a broiled fish and some honeycomb. {43}And He took it and ate in their presence. {44}Then He said to them, “These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me.” {45}And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures.

{18}And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. {19}Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, {20}teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

{1}There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. {2}This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.” {3}Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born ἄνωθεν [‘again’ or ‘from above’], he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

{5}Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. {6}That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. {7}Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ {8}The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

{10}[The Logos/the true Light] was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. {11}He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. {12}But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: {13}who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

{17}Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. {18}Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.

{35}And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst. {36}But I said to you that you have seen Me and yet do not believe. {37}All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. {38}For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. {39}This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. {40}And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”

{4}But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, {5}not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, {6}whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, {7}that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

{1}And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, {2}in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, {3}among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others. {4}But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, {5}even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), {6}and raised \textit{us} up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, {7}that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

{3}Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? {4}Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. {5}For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, {6}knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. {7}For he who has died has been freed from sin. {8}Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, {9}knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him. {10}For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God.

{32}This Jesus God has raised up, of which we are all witnesses. {33}Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear. {34}For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he says himself: “The LORD said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, {35}Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.” {36}Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.

{50}And [Jesus] led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them. {51}Now it came to pass, while He blessed them, that He was parted from them and carried up into heaven. {52}And they worshiped Him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy,

{7}But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift. {8}Therefore He says: “When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive, And gave gifts to men.” {9}(Now this, “He ascended”—what does it mean but that He also first descended into the lower parts of the earth? {10}He who descended is also the One who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things.) {11}And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, {12}for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, {13}till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; {14}that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, {15}but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ—{16}from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

{1}If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. {2}Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. {3}For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. {4}When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.

{12}For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. {13}For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. {14}For in fact the body is not one member but many.

{3}Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, {4}just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, {5}having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, {6}to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved. {7}In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace {8}which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, {9}having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, {10}that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him. {11}In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, {12}that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory. {13}In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, {14}who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.
